Benefits
of Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board (MPPCB) Registration
1. Improved Business Reputation
Companies with MPPCB certification show their commitment
to environmental responsibility, which enhances credibility among customers and
authorities.
2. Groundwater Safety
Stringent rules on hazardous waste disposal prevent heavy
metals and toxins from leaching into the groundwater, which is the primary
source of water for rural MP.
3. Ease of Doing Business
The MPPCB has shifted to online "Consent to
Establish" (CTE) and "Consent to Operate" (CTO) systems.
4. Eligibility for Expansion
Industries with valid MPPCB consent can easily apply for
expansion or modification of their manufacturing activities.
5. Soil Health
By regulating the discharge of industrial sludge and
untreated sewage, the state protects the fertility of its soil, which is
critical for its massive wheat and soybean production.
6. Wildlife Protection
MP has the highest tiger population in India. Pollution
control in corridors surrounding national parks (like Kanha and Pench) ensures
that wildlife has access to clean water and a toxin-free habitat.
